Morning Message: “SUPERNATURAL | What Jesus Can Do”
On Sunday afternoons at the Cutchins’ home, we usually have some early afternoon coffee, and find ourselves discussing the morning message. “AFTERTHOUGHTS“ is our way of sharing the conversation and discussion with you. In each post, we will ask five questions to spark discussion over a cup of coffee.
DISCUSSION STARTER QUESTIONS
- What stood out to you?
- What did you think needs more discussion?
- What were your biggest takeaways?
- What did you find most challenging?
- Why did you think this message was important?
Awesome sermon and thank you for sharing this afterthought!
I appreciated how you took verse by verse of John 9 and related each verse to what Jesus did for this man’s life. It’s the same things that He does for us today.
Things that stood out for me were:
1) Jesus saw a man, who happened to be blind. He didn’t see a blind man. Unfortunately, I think too often I see the person’s plight before I see the person.
2) The challenge of the prayer, “Lord increase my hunger for your word and decrease my hunger for this world”.
3) Jesus took the substance from which man was created and mixed it with what came out of the divine creator’s mouth to heal the man.
“Lord, increase my hunger for Your Word.
Decrease my hunger for the world.”
Made it part of my daily prayer time. We’re so blessed to have such a man of God filled with wisdom from above!
