After saying goodbye to my family and waiting at the Charlotte airport for hours Sunday afternoon, I found out that my flight from Charlotte was delayed so late that I was not going to make my connecting flight in Pittsburgh. And… There is only one flight a day from Pittsburgh to Israel.
So, instead of taking the flight and spending the night in Philly just to wait for Monday’s 9:15pm flight, I booked a flight out of Charlotte this morning to Newark, where I am now, and am catching a flight at 1:30pm to Tel Aviv.
Security was… interesting. I think they asked me the same questions at least a dozen times. Looks like I am scheduled to land at around 7am… with a time zone loss of 7 hours.
