Dr. Cutchins serves as a Teaching Pastor at First Baptist Simpsonville | Upstate Church in South Carolina. He primarily preaches verse-by-verse and passage-by-passage through books of the Bible. He is also a contributing author for the Nelson’s Annual Preacher’s Sourcebook published by Thomas Nelson Publishing.
In addition to his weekly preaching, Dr. Cutchins has been a speaker for various local, state, regional, and national conferences and events. These include state wide events for both the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention (2016) and the South Carolina Baptist Convention (2020). Dr. Cutchins has also covered various topics as a main stage and breakout session speaker (2011- 2015, 2019-2020, 2023, 2024) for the SES National Apologetics Conference in Rock Hill, SC.
