In the Summer of 2011, I traveled to Israel as a part of my Doctorate of Ministry in Christian Apologetics program at Southern Evangelical Seminary. This was my first opportunity to visit this part of the world and I am very thankful to my professor, and friend, Dr. Barry Leventhal for inviting me to be a part of this trip. One of the things I was told before I traveled to Israel was, “when you return, God will have unwrapped presents for you to open each time you study the scripture.” I have found that to be true.
