With all the uncertainty that exists in the world today, I realize more than ever that we are living in a hostile environment. Can I share something with you that has really helped me? God had a perfect design for this world. But, sin came into the world and separated us from God … and as a result of that … sin and brokenness happen.John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” Ephesians 2 reminds us that it’s “by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
This is the Gospel. Faith in Christ, resulting in Eternal life … a free gift that you couldn’t earn or keep. But in order to receive that gift, the Bible says very clearly that we have to FAITH in Jesus Christ. We have to BELIEVE. And as you believe in Jesus, you repent of our sins. That means to turn away from our sins … and that leads to recovery and pursuit of God’s Design. So let me ask you a question: Have you placed your faith in Christ for eternal life? Is there anything keeping you from doing that today? Let me encourage you to place your faith in Jesus today and receive the free gift of eternal life.
